What dirt bikes had eye to clevis shocks?

I'm looking to outfit a custom cb350 with longer eye to clevis shocks. Trying to raise the rear end up a good bit so I was thinking maybe dirt bike shocks. The pattern is eye to clevis. Looking for something that would get me around 3-4" of additional lift and better stiffness. Any other out of the box ideas?

raise it that high your chain will be rubbing on the swinger so hard it will smoke
+ you will need a spring loaded chain tensioner
what are you doing with the front?different forks ? 3-4" longer as well?

A great many have eye to lower clevis. Honda has a bunch, Modern dirt bike shocks (2000 and up are really long like 19" center to center. The modern ones are too long even if you shorten them, you can shorten about 1.75" Some of the 1980's are much shorter mono-shocks. I found an old Ohlins mid-80's (on a Husqvarna) vintage in the salvage yard for $40.00 needs a rebuild but I'd do that anyway. Kawasaki ZRX 1200r shocks are 14.25" but the lower is an eye. I have a pair on my CX500 Honda, nice shocks. If you find the right shocks it may be easier to make some lower eye mounts on the swingarm?
Cheers, 50gary
