What does everyone do for their "real" job?

Bout production lead for the local roller derby team. I make sure everything is ready for each home bout and that everything goes as planned. I also run their forum.

Oh, you said "real" job. I don't get paid for that. My "real" job is the same as it was on page 1.

God that is funny, at least he seems happy!

Project Manager at a Canadian telecom company. Funny thing is that I find myself building a bike like running a project - budget, schedule, scope, ect. And yes, I am over budget on my build :p

Paralegal at a large personal injury law firm. Odd, they give me all the bike accident cases. Must be because I'm the only one that rides, haha.

Ha ha ha - I was going to say something similar! One of my other hobbies is amateur gunsmithing - I've built a handful of bolt action rifles for myself and a couple for family. Very low-tech stuff for me as I'm not a welder or machinist (yet!). But you'd be surprised by what you can put together with bolt-on aftermarket parts, some ingenuity, basic hand tools and a lot of work. Actually, you might not be surprised since many do the same things with bikes around here.

By day I'm a web/software developer (a programmer), currently part of a company that builds what is now referred to as "social" software but used to be called forums, blogs, wikis and photo galleries. If you've ever interacted with web sites at Dell, Texas Instruments, Intel or some Microsoft sites, as well as many others, then you've worked with our software.

I manage the shipping department for a large cake decoration distributor.

I also co-own an apparel company with my wife. This has only cost me money so far. We hope to start turning a profit by the end of summer. I would love to tell my current employer that they need me not the other way around. :)
