What's good ya'll, my gas tank has this flip top lid that covers the gas cap. I think this tank only came on the 78 cb750k. Anyhow, it's missing the key lock to that flip top lid. So when I ride, this lid rattles. Does anyone know what this piece is called? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks!

So the lid just has a hole where the lock would normally be? It's just a tank lid lock - not sure what the parts manual says. Should be able to pick one up on eBay - I'll have a look around my shop.
The same exact lids were used on the CB550F, late model CB550K's, the CB750F and the '77/'78 CB750K so don't search specifically for one from a '78.
