What kind of boots do you wear- daily, for riding?

Are normal Redwing-style workboots ok for riding safety-wise? Should I wear my heavy, clunky steel toes?

What do you wear when riding? Are they just the same boots you wear on a daily basis or something specifically for riding?

Standard issue Canadian military parade boots.
Takes a beating and polishes up real nice and shiny when needed...

I'm wearing steel toe Wolverines for now, but I'm buying http://www.motorcyclegear.com/street/closeouts/boots/sidi/fusion_rain_motorcycle_boots.html as soon as I have the money.
I like the better ankle protection.
It seems like every time a bike goes down, the shifter or rear brake pedal gets bent. (Along with a brake or clutch lever) Guess whats right there.

Cocorran 10" jump boots. Nice roomy cap toe but for work commute I wear the low top doc Martens. The style escapes me tho

ICON Field Armor chukka boots. Lots of hard plastic armor, especially in the heel area. For aggressive sport bike riding, my AGVSPORT Sebring racing boots. Both infinitely better than the Vans and Airwalks I used to wear in my squidly days.
