What parts to buy... CL360, resto project!

Better quality gloves are worth the extra if you do fall down.
I still can't believe I spent $120.00 on Alpine Star GP gloves

Yeah gloves are important, your hands naturally want to grab the asphalt in the event of a slide, and I enjoy my coco puffs in the morning :)

Thanks for the compliments, here's some pics I took today.

I'm sort of thinking about getting some fork boots, but unsure about making them connecting cleanly on the top. Thoughts?

I might end up doing another motorcycle.. I have been looking at craigslist, not that I'm bored with my current bike, but there are a few things I want to try differently.

Thanks trek but it looks like those boys and chips are going to be too expensive after all.

I'm sort of running out of mods to do to it. Any advice?

You need to turn the master link around so it doesnt show.

Dont take this the wrong way. Other than the clubmans, I really like the looks of your machine...
But, you havent done any "Mods" So far you have simply put a little Ebay colored lipstick on a pig.

Mods require more than simply a credit card and 10mm wrench.

You need to read through Matts build threads...

$30 is too expensive. YET, your thinking about buying another bike?!?!

I didnt intend to chop my bike up, it was a resto cafe type build and I wanted it fairly stock.

I do want to make a more custom bike eventually with a big gas tank and custom seat. Dont get me wrong I love my bike, but i have the itch to do another.

one thing I want to do is make my bike cruise at 75mph at less rpms. I cant remember but I think at 60mph im at like 5-6k rpms and thats too much. Should I replace the big or little sprocket and what teeth do you reccomend trek?

5~6 K isn't even close to 'too much' but, fitting 17t front sprocket and 33 t rear sprocket will give almost 130mph @ 10,500rpm (if you had enough power to pull it)

Before I rebuilt the engine. I had an 18 tooth/34 tooth. She cruised real nice. But, I dont remember any numbers. Whenever I come across it, digging for parts...I always think I need to put it back on.

Also, w a quick seat change. Youve almost got a neater 360 version of "The girl w the dragon tattoo" clone.

Ditto... this aint like a big twin where I'm doing 80 at 2600rpm.

You are just right with your RPMs where they are... 5-6k is relaxed riding on these.

I have been wanting to upgrade the headlight to a brighter light. Converting it to an h4, then a yellow hid would be awesome. But I'm unsure where to start, and it's hard to find much info on headlight ring sizes etc. Thanks for the help.
