What size clip-ons do it need?

Most likely 35 mm, I think the later GS's used 37mm. I believe it was 83 and up GS1000 and GS1100 that used 37........but I could be very wrong.

if it's chain drive, 37mm. shaft I believe is 35. Now your riding tripple...
