Need to get back to work on it.. What do I do with the front brake lines, speedo cable, clutch cable and throttle cables?

They are all too long obviously, and I'm not sure what to do.. I don't want to cut them and run knarps, as I want it reliable...

Anyone who can lead me in the right direction?

Cut them to the right length. Not only are too long cables ugly, they are not functional and can be dangerous if they bind or stick.

Are you running disc or drum front brake? if disc, you need a shorter brake cable.

Measure the correct length for your cables, leaving just enough play for full swing of the clip ons. Use a Dremel cut off disc, carefully cut the cable, spray with brake cleaner, fit a new cable end, splay the outer end of the cables slightly, flux and solder on the new cable end. File off excess solder and frayed cable so they fit your levers. Hardware stores often carry throttle stops and other small cable ends with threads and a bolt to hold the cable. I have used them and filled with solder.
