What to do with unused wires?

I'm in the process of building a vintage race bike and I have no experience at all at electronics. What do I do with the wires I don't need such as the wires I cut the left controls off with and the start button. All I want is to make the bike on "run" all the time and add a kill switch. Any help would be great.

Just use some insulation tape to tape them up. Make sure they don't short out on anything or each other.
