What year is this bike?

I'm looking at buying a CB360T. The seller says it's a 1972 but Wikipedia says the CB360 was only in production from 1974-1976? Is this two year difference something I should be worried about?

If it's got a disc front brake and exhaust on both sides, it's a 360T. If it's a CB360T, then it's either 75 or 75. If you get the VIN you can figure out the model and year.

What color is it, also? You can often tell from that. Let me see if I can find the site that lists all the differences.

That would be great man! I tried to research what number/letter in the vin would indicate year but got nowhere! I also appreciate the quick reply as I'm leaving straight from work in half an hour to go see the bike!

This isn't the site I was looking for, but it isn't bad.

When you look at the bike, a 360 will say "356 cc" on the engine. I'm not sure what the 350 says. Really though, most folks say they'd rather a 350 over a 360. I think it says something about the owner that he doesn't know the year.

This is an excellent read when looking at a used bike:

Thanks a lot for the links man! I was actually reading the used motorcycle buyers guide today already. I've read it about three times through now. Once for every bike I've gone to look at. It's really good to keep fresh in mind while looking for a used bike!

Thanks again!

No problem. Be sure to post some pics when you buy a bike.

Also, if you get a Blue 75 360T, I'll buy the right side cover from you ;D

haha ummm... think I might want to hold on to it... ;D

the one I'm looking at is Red anyway.
