"what'cha drinking tonight?"

Nice!

I'm currently working my way through all of the distilleries of Islay.

Port Ellen or Kilchomen will probably be next.

Lemon-ritas, a shot of Jack, due to sore throat, and a few Coors Light.

Watching Thursday Night football........go dirty birds.

Been meaning to brew a batch of RYE-PA type stuff, can't buy decent beer around here without spending a fortune, stupid southern liqueur laws.....

Local brewery in OKC makes one that just makes me sick smelling it. Its called F5 IPA and I swear they just soak hops in water and then can it up, just straight up blow your nose off hops with zero flavor or mouth feel.

I like a good beer, that is not...

That is the root of my disdain for IPA's. American brewers have become obsessed with hops and think the hoppier the better. Too much is too much. I love a dry bitter. I love Porters and Stouts. I love a good Pilsner, especially in the summer. But an IPA that your tongue can't get passed the hops is just gross.

Yep there are some way to hoppy all you taste is hops ipa out there. I like em most of the time but have had a few I'd only drink again if they were free.

Meh... It's like anything, it boils down to personal opinion ans taste. Hoppy makes me Happy... just not tooo hoppy or happy.

Guinness Blonde , Harp and Duck/Rabbit. Wish someone around here would stock D/R on a consistent basis.Yummy.bj

Would love to Florida someday, but this is seriously one of my concerns.

As for me, I'll be drinking an oatmeal stout I kegged 3 weeks ago. :)

Re: "what'cha drinking tonight?"

Been drinking on my own version of a Belgian whit for the last couple weeks, steam style lager is in secondary right should get bottled next week sometime. Got a peat smoked porter kit in the mail now. Still have to do my Christmas brew prolly this weekend so it has time to age a bit.

Had some bad news about my foot, as in it didn't heal right after the surgery, so I got this to make me feel better. It tastes pretty good and I forgot about the foot for a few hours. Still some left, round two tonight with a buddy coming over with Cuban beer. Should be fun.
