"what'cha drinking tonight?"

Yeah, no wrenches to turn right now... The DT250 is in the shed, buried behind my brother's Buell, which is buried behind my dad's GS750, which is buried behind the tractor... And my GS550 is buried behind the DT250. Plenty of work to be done but no garage space and no access. And no sympathy from the folks who would have to move their cars and put up with the air compressor running all night.

Man I feel you, I used to have to live in that world, never was I so glad when the day came to move out into the sticks were all my neighbors love cars and bikes and such and love to hang out all hours of the day to play with them. I could go out right now and crank my bike up and maybe have 2 guys show up in 5 minutes with the ,"WTF's up dude you working on your shit??" Many hours of beer drinking and fixing usually follow.

Life out of other peoples hair has its benefits as well as its drawbacks, I love living where I do. I get to do what I want too, just costs money to live, and money to keep the fridge stocked full of beers.

Yeah... I ran flat-broke trying to be a responsible adult type and going to college. Ended up having to move back in with the folks. Trust me, if it was my garage, I'd have a working GS550 right now. That, or another $1,000 in my pocket to go into the Yami. :D

But on the other hand, you lot get to have my presence to grace you instead. XD

Bloody Mary's: Kettle One, Mr & Mrs. T's mix (lazy), Cholula, Rose's Lime (didn't have any fresh limes), fresh ground pepper, fresh grated parmesan (the good stuff), and finely diced pepper-bacon (thick-cut from the deli) left over from breakfast. Used a fork when I got to the bottom(s)...

Decided to be ethnic tonight. Jarritos tamarind with a double shot of Cuervo Especial.

Spent the day working on the bike, as it's too cold to and the snows too deep to work in, so just poured myself a large Fundador (Spanish brandy) to warm the belly, while I enjoy the site, cheers.

Fundador sounds, er, fun! Like my brandies, especially the Czech cherry brandy I use in trifles. Awesome stuff!

Drinks from the weekend with my girl and her mum - I currently work in a bar and specialize in cocktails so had to do a few for them!

Cosmopolitans (8oz cranberry juice / 4 shots vodka / 1oz orange liq / juice from 3 lime wedges = 3 Cosmos)
Purple Hooters (1oz vodka / .5oz Chambord black rasberry / dash lemonade)
French Martinis (1.5oz vodka / .5oz Chambord / .5oz pineapple juice)
Random Drink (4oz ginger ale / 1oz vodka / dash Chambord)

That last one I just made up from ingredients lying around, goes down quite nicely on a hot afternoon. Might call it something deserty... the 'Mirage' perhaps? Or 'Oasis'?

Anywho, good time was had by all!

Cheers - boingk

Caesars. It's cocktail week at the Lickbo aka LCBO or Liquor Control Board of Ontario (Canada) and I thought I should do my best to support them.
Absolut vodka, Clamato juice, fresh ground pepper, a coupla shakes hot sauce, same of Worcestershire sauce, easy on the salt. No celery as I ran out.

The last of the bottle will be gone tonight. :(

Silver bullets for me tonight, I spent most of the day hanging out on top of a 100' fucking water tower in 30 degree, 10-20 mph wind weather just so some of my customers can have better god damn internet. Oh did get rained on a little too...

^Bet that scotch would be mild blowingly nice.

As for 'Silver Bullets'... you mean Resch's Pilsner, frogman?

I was on James Squire 'Nine Tales' after work:

ohh man, there ya go! the 15 yr is my stand-by, great with a nice maduro. the 12 yr dbl wood is a nice, sweeter change of pace, and the 17 yr is just exponentially better than either of them (and priced as such), and ive never even dreamed of being able to afford a bottle of the 21 yr stuff. congrats on your disposable income, laugh. I saw a 14 yr rum cask aged one in the store recently. might have to give that a try next.

sadly, im pounding a protein shake tonight, post workout.

scotch and cigars tomorrow night, though.

I wish I could afford it, actually. I got it as a going away present from my coworkers from my last job.
