I could go for a Franziskaner Hefeweizen... that was my go-to over there. Rothaus Pils wasn't too bad either.

Franziskaner was one of my first beers.. I still love it to this day.

a few cans of Oettinger for dinner tonight, not bad for german beer, generally prefer dutch/swedish/chinese/indian but this stuffs cheap and comes in stupid big cans....what can i do ?

also my german boss keeps telling me how to pronounce it properly so just to annoy him i refuse to do so, that and the band Kraftwerk, that one really gets him going

"Tonight" has yet to happen but the Lodge has it's Feather (Turkey) Party tonight... thinking C. C. Classic 12 Manhattans with occaisional Irish Car Bomb's thrown in are in my near future.

Yum!
Daughter gave me an assortment of about a dozen mini-bottles of bourbon last year for Christmas. Turns out, Beam was still my favorite.

I often start on the rocks, if for no other reason than to snort the aroma. I'll sip a while, then (usually) mix with water, Coke, DP, or my favorite - Jim & Ginger - love how they dance together!

I kinda got away from mixers for two reasons... One, I find that I can control the buzz better when I sip. As opposed to "drinking" when it's mixed. And Two, I don't wake up hungover or sick when sipping it on the rocks. It's all the sugar in the mixers that makes my stomach flip-flop the next day.

Just back from the "He-man Women Haters Club." Jack Daniels and Corona. But despite the name, everyone there has been maried more than 25 years and no bitches about their wife.

its all I can reach and the ol lady has No sympathy when I crash!

I'll take one too please! ;D

Awhile back, my friend and I made Jack Daniels Milkshakes. Just experimenting we took a whole bunch of vanilla ice cream and stuck it in a blender and poured in JD until the taste and consistency was good. Delicious.

i used to consume bourbon kahlua and milk as a hangover cure, worked wonders and tasted awesome, it was a trick taught to me by a couple of rockabilly chicks, sure do miss Miss Ruthy and The Shagger, great girls to go drinking with

I wish I hung out with somebody nicknamed the Shagger who dispensed alcoholic remedies.

they were my GF's best friends so all i got to do was drink with them but i was fine with that, both way cool chicks without any of that complicational stuff (and truth be said, Shagger {Sharon to her mum} was abit of a nutter anyway)
