What's a stock CB350 engine worth in good condition?

I may or may not not need a new engine, but I'm sure it can't hurt to have a spare. What range do these things typically sell for?

I would expect to pay around $200-$450 for a cb350 engine without the carbs. Finding one in "good condition" might be difficult.

If you are willing to travel, or even get a parts bike, there are a couple available around Ontario. Check Craigs List and Kijiji and you'll find something.

As for price, I've asked about motors at salvage shops... people have quoted me 300 for a seized motor (maybe from sitting... maybe from something else).
