I bought two LED brake lights for 20 dollars. Wired them up and they work like a charm.

Blake, you need to be more specific. For example there are a many people selling LED indicators or headlamps or truck tail lights or Knightriders etc and one place is not cheapest for all of them. G\I have bough bulbs from SuprebrightLEDs.com, light bars from Cosmic LEDs, and from Customdynamics and indicators and integrated tail lights from ebay sellers in China.

Mikuni carbs are cheapest as knockoffs but no guarantees. Snowmobile carbs can be cheap if you have a supply of brass (jets). Suppliers like Dime City IIRC will sell you a complete kit that may not look cheapest but may turn out to be the most cost effective.

IMHO swap meet or what you create with your own hands. Both require a lot of patience. Swap meets are cool and very random for what you can find. My own time is free unless I'm missing work to do it. Deviates from the question a bit but just what I think

Used a LED rear tail light that was purchased from a truck stop. Nicest $10 tail light around.
