I stopped at $400, not even registered. Someone out there is wanting to rebuild it.

That 500 isn't even expensive.
700 bucks for a complete 500 isn't cheap but I've paid that before.

In what way?
They made tones of them.
They litter the streets of Brooklyn, and a bunch of guys even race them.
If CL or eBay is the only tool used to fined a bike one can me convinced they are "hard to find". They would be wrong, but convinced. Have to step off the web and actually look.

I'd buy it. Offer 150. You'll drop a lot of money if you want to make it into something.

I would. But that's me.

My next project when ever that may be will be a Honda cb750... I hope or I hope more for a kz1000. I'm just dreaming, that is very dangerous for me.

Teach me yours ways of finding these bikes.

I hate seeing unfinished projects up for sale on craig's, what I mean is some person took a great/good bike, maybe, then butchered it and now they want to sale it.

Find local people doing stuff, not the web.
Nothing happens or gets done on the web!

Step into the real world, meet people, go places, do stuff.
Amazing what you come across then!
