My new gloves - the best I've ever owned.

BMW DoubleR: 100% kangaroo leather, palm with Kevlar under stingray leather, Kevlar/carbon knuckle protection, plastic armour wrist protector.

Looks good, feels great!

Need to post photos of mine later, one is a simple leather single-layer with palm protection and the other Rocket CF Specials... or something.

Race gloves, full gauntlet can't be beat. I like the airflow of the mesh armored, but they are pretty much good for only one season, as the pics attest. When they're done, I cut the fingers off and use them when I go trail riding on my mountain bike. Anything other than motorcycle specific gloves, or gear in general, isn't appropriate for riding.

have had a pair of bks(from cycle gear)cheap and didnt last very long not the same quality as real bks stuff. currently have arlen ness race gloves comfortable but seem thin and wouldnt want to "test" them out.road radracing world has a crash tested section and they show various gloves and report injuries received during crash and the held gloves seem to do very well and ive had customers from when i worked at cycle gear tell me they were quite happy with them

Seems like you guys really like the beefy protection, but are you into the crazy moto-racing colors and materials? What if we had super nice heritage leathers, and trim details that matched up with our bikes? Isn't this a little better? Full protection, with style & crazy good fit.

I've worn ICON Pursuit gloves for years (same pair). Crashed my BMW in them, they held up great. Have worn them in pouring rain etc.

Recently picked up a pair of Held Troy gloves from Town Moto, before the Spring Thaw in May. Great gloves.
