Wheel decisions (kz650)

Hello:) I've been trying to make a decision on new wheels for my kz650, wow I never thought this could be so hard:/
What I really want is new spoked rims 18 rear and front but that will be quite costly for me at the moment so I've been browsing for some used mags that could work. The stock on this bike is 18-2.15 rear and 19-1.85.

Came across three different mags today, one rear (2.15 - 18), a front (1.60 - 18) and another front (2.15 - 19).
I can't decide what combo to go for, or even if any of them will be a good combo? I don't want a ride that handles bad.

Any suggestions? 1.60 seems a little slim for a front on this bike, but I could be wrong :)

Thanks for the reply, I actually did come across a kz400 front which is a direct swap, but that was also 1.60. Maybe it wasn't stock though, idk.

But a good base would be 18-2.15 and 18-1.85 front?

A 400/440 front end will not bolt up to a 550/650/750/900/1000/1100.
The steering stem bolt is the right diameter, but an inch to short. The fork
tube diameter is also different. The spoke hole pattern is identical on the
400/440 vs. the 4 cylinder bikes.

Take a look at my post. Mr. Hyde has a KZ650 front end modified to fit a KZ400.
It has a 1.85 rim with a 100/18 tire and 2.15 rim with a 120/18 rear.

Gonna be really expensive for me to re-lace a new front rim with new spokes from buchanans,
but it looks like i might be able to get a hold of a front wheel from a z1300, if memory serves it should be 2.15-18.

I'm browsing for tires just to get an overview and thinking about the shinko 705's : 120/80-18 back and 4.10-18 front, are these choices sane?
