wheel spacing

learning curve? what learning curve?
Im setting up a front end with a more modern wheel. my question is about centering. Its going to end up about 3/32 off center. with the original spacers and speedo drive. Pretty neat for a drop on from two bikes 15 years apart. but is that to far off center? is it going to be a noticable problem when turning or am I good. centering is a huge undertaking. It involves having the pads for the rotor milled off by a mm or two. (easier said then done) and making new spacers. Ive already had two machine shops turn away the wheel work, the thing will be tough to get mounted for the milling apparently.

ok....great, how about 3/16ths?....thats what I actually meant to type....sorry
...damn my fat fingers...or head, not sure

Unless you're Valentino, you'll more than likely not notice that either. Try it and see how it handles. You don't really have a feasible alternative anyway by the sounds of things.

Some mid-80's Harleys had more offset than that from the factory. There was no noticeable handling quirks from it.

Like Hillsy said, put it together and ride it. In all likelihood, you will not notice it.

I appreciate it guys, without advice like that my OCD would kick in and Id spend a big part of my budget getting the thing dead center. Thanks.
