I noticed that my CB350 has a bit of play in the swing arm. I have heard a little about trying to find bronze swing arm bushings and to replace all 4 bushings as well as the inner collars.
Where is a good place to source these? Should I not ride the bike until I have replaced them?
and if Bob can't help you try eBay, I found a guy in Poland (if i remember correctly) that was making the bronze bushings w/ tapered needle bearings and selling them there.
$40.00 is a really good price if it's all 6 pieces.
$10.00 each isn't too bad if it's just the bushings, there is a bunch of time involved in precision machining

I just ordered some bronze to make 2 sets of swing arm bearings for 360's
It's going to cost me $40.00 before I do any cutting or machining

So I picked up a pair of bronze bushings off of ebay. Is there anything I need to know in regards to installing them? Any tricks to removing the current bushings from the swing arm? Can I use a bearing press to install the new ones? What do I need to look for when inspecting the inner collars? Thanks in advance for the help.
The tolerances aren't that tight. Bang out the old ones with a screwdriver. Put the new ones in the freezer for an hour then bang them in with a mallet.
Bushing are usually pressed into place using a press, yeah. Heat and/or cold can be applied if they're being difficult. It's sometimes necessary to ream the bushings after they're in place. The swingarm bolt and collars should be snug, but not too tight. You should be able to slip them in with a bit of grease, no hammer should be necessary.
