Where can I get a seat like this?

Been Around the Block
Hey everyone.

I just purchased a 71 CB175 for cheap so that I could have something small to teach my wife to ride. I figured while I'm at it I can fix it up for her and cafe it out to some extent. She loves anything vintage so its win win. But I digress...

Anyway, I want to find out where I can get a seat like the one in this picture below. My idea for the build is something similar to this bike.

If someone could point me in the right direction that would be amazing.

Cheers!

I dunno if it's much help, but lot's of guys make their own seat pan out of steel sheeting or fibreglass so it fits to the bike frame perfectly. THen either upholster it themselves or take it to someone that does it for a living. IT's fairly simple, I just made my first one a few weeks ago and upholstered it myself. Turned out not too shabby.

Seeking: where are you located? There is a member here in Pittsburgh that does upholstery. If you send your pan to him, he could pad it for you at a good price.

Forgot: there is a member here (66replica) that had a how-to about making a similar seat on his blog. I lost the link (maybe it's in his signature here?) but the blog was called Kickwrench.

That's actually the route I will be going with the seat. I got the idea from WM bikes. I love that low style seating.

Would one use a closed cell foam for that as well? Does it need to be shaped, or can it just be pretty much a square piece of foam about 2" tall?
