Where the hell are the 15 inch tires

I know this isn't exactly cafe related, but I just bought a 1978 Yamaha GT80, and I can't find a front tire for it anywhere. It came with a 14 inch rear and a 15 inch front. I've searched high and low for a 15 inch front dirtbike tire, and have come up empty. 14 and 16 are no problem.

Does anyone know a source for some OFFROAD 15 inch front tires? May have to just switch to a different year GT80 for the 16 front.

I've found some Shinko's, but I was hoping for something more offroad oriented as it will never be ridden on the road, just dirt and trails.

check the all balls site and see what the bearings say or check on the zuki single forum and see what they use

Bah, I'm buying the Shinko 15 I found. It is seriously the ONLY 15 I found, though. Crazy.
The forks are in too good of shape to swap. Amazingly, there is zero rust on the important bits.

Anyways thanks for the help. I may end up doing a DT swap later on, it seems the stem on most Yamaha enduros of this time were of the same dimesions.

Did you check Avon? They make lots of vintage sizes.

the Shinko 241 dual sport will be fine. It's a better off road tire than what the bike came with when new
