Where to buy Stator/Alternator?

I have a 1975 Honda cb550 and the stator is bad and needs replaced my only problem is i cant find one online, i found a couple on ebay that looked worse than the one i have. I would like to get a refurbished one if i could. any help in which direction to go would be greatly appreciated thank you

Had the same problem with my 550. You can send your current stator to Ricks Motorsports Electrics to get rebuilt for around $150. I ended up taking a gamble on an eBay stator and rotor for a good price and it worked out though.

What years would work on the 1975 just 1975? or could i get one from a 1976 or 1977 model

All the CB550 ones are interchangeable, except the Nighthawk ones of course.
