While i didnt get out this weekend ( spent that either at work, or working on a buddies forks, and the cafe) I DID however get out today for a while. My stepdad called earlier and asked if i could go pick up his 07 Vulcan900 from the shop for him. Just got some recall work done (??) He was at work, and since, as of yet, i dont have a roadworthy bike, i was all for it, even though it is a monsterous cruiser (hey two wheels when you're starving, is two wheels) So i had a buddy drop me off, picked the Kaw up, and while i was at it, went for a couple hour ride. I dont think he'll mind...LMAO

You guys are killing me! I spent Saturday getting my 850 back on it's own 2 wheels (mounted new rubber, oil, etc.) I had to keep reminding myself that it's cool to do all of my own maintenance. Sunday was spent with the better half- if she's not happy then I can't spend more on my riding habit. Yesterday I finally got both bikes insured - switched from Progressive ($75 each) to Geico ($70 for the primary, $20 for the secondary= $90 for the whole year!) Saved myself $60/year ;D. Came to work at 4:00am today so I can hopefully bail out by 3:00pm AND THEN I'M GOING RIDING! 8)

Absolutely need a Cleveland meet-n-greet, let 's see if we can find a night or weekend afternoon to meet somewhere. How far south Dan? My 650 won't be on the road (i plan to start attacking it Sunday - the wife's working ) But I did get the 850 out last night - a little chilly down by the lake. Just put a set of Spitfire's on it and man what a difference ;D
