So I just bought what I thought was a good running cafe "style" 77 cb 750f. Has a custom made tail section and a few other "mods"(lol) any way it ran and road good for a test ride then as I was riding it home the bike started cutting out, had some crap plug up the inlets in the carb. And then things got interesting,...real interesting... Going through traffic my front master cylinder blew out, then a few blocks later my rear one went out!!!

So my question is this are the master cylinders worth rebuilding? Or just replacing? Second I really want wire spoke wheels on this. What will fit? Dual disc front and single disc on the rear. Are the regular disc brake cb750s the same as the cb750f ss? Thanks for any input

Ps the front turned out to be a loose brake line! I bled it and rode home with the front brakes working... Well most of the way before the carbs plugged up completely... All good fun in old bikes

The fronts should be interchangeable between models, the rear spoked disk wheels however are rarer than hen's teeth. Good luck finding one of those that's affordable.

I got a forty spoke kaw disc brake hub rotor and caliper with the spokes ill sell

Hmm pm me a price if that will fit. I may have located one from a 76 tho. Any recommendations on the master cylinders tho? I hate to waste the money on a rebuild if I'll just have to replace it anyway
