Will any 56mm piston work?

Took apart my 1970 Aermacchi Harley 125cc engine and the piston is shot. I did some research and found the standard piston size is 56mm and apparently the stroke is 50mm. It is next to impossible to find a NOS piston for this engine but there are many 56mm 2 stroke pistons on ebay, most do not list stroke size. A lot of them look like they might work, but I want to be sure before I order something. Will another manufactures piston swap right in?

Replying to keep updated - I'm looking at a 68 Rapido with the same motor. Here's a piston ring set I found on eBay http://m.ebay.com/itm/390719941042?nav=SEARCH

I saw that but I just cant justify putting a $100+ piston into a old beater trail bike.

I found these..

Whilst the bore is the same, the other variables are the deck height (the distance from the gudgeon pin to the top), skirt length (how long the piston is) and the gudgeon pin bore size.

If all those match up, you're good to go.

While I can't comment on deck height or piston skirt length, I did read on a Aermacchi website that someone was able to use a Yamaha YCS1 piston. It's obviously hearsay but might be something to look into since supply of those pistons is probably way better (i.e. cheaper). I googled a spec sheet and found a number of other Yamaha bikes, including the YDS3, YDS5, DS6C, and DS6/B, had a 56mm bore x 50 mm stroke as well.
