Wiring Connectors

I just received my connector kit from Vintage Connections yesterday and spent last night replacing and/or installing connectors on my coils , condensers etc.

I have to say I was very impressed with Vintage Connections from placing the order to the quality of what I received and how quickly I received it.

The connectors are very nice with rubber-like insulators (factory like). The crimp tool included was good quality as well.

I took a few test runs and after that I was crimping connectors on my bike that were so snao you would think they were straight from the factory.

I just thought I would post up about this kit as I found it to be well worth the money and saved me the hassle of sourcing all these little bits on the internet.

If you are repairing or replacing wireing on your bike, check these guys out.

Cool I dont have to post this question. Was thinking of making an all new stock copy wire harnness and was looking for the connectors. Thanks for posting. Should post it in the hot deals.

Z1 enterprises and mikexs also sell the bullet connectors and insulators.

Coundn't find em on Z1 and MikeSX sell the connectors and plugs seprately, and a little more expensive. I ordered from vintage place got a quick "your package is in the mail" email. Cant wait to see the product.

marz- i would agree with the kit. only thing is what gauge wire are you working with if you replaced any wires. i believe most of the wiring ins 16 guage. can't really find anything posted.

sorry. Late to this party, but I've just come across this stuff through an independent search for my cb900 project, and must agree. The product is the closest to OEM I've seen, and good quality. The service is also terrific.
As an additional resource, I've also bought sheathing from these guys: http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/ some of the heat-resistant stuff for around the motor. This page http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/cable/thinwall.php also lists the wires in the correct colour/tracer combinations-although I haven't ordered any of that. If you look at the drop-down list for the "Ref.16" range you'll find just about all the colours you need to re-wire a Honda ;) They rate this wire at 16.5 amp, and while I know little about lectrickery, I rekon that's about right?? But willing to learn otherwise.

Hope this is useful to someone (besides me!)

cheers
ian
