Wiring Novice

Wiring novice here seeking advice regarding wires on gauges and headlight. Need some help identifying which wire is for what. First one is the headlight with three wires - red, blue and black. The other photo is my new speedo - red and black wire. The third is my tachometer - green, black and yellow/black. I assume the red and black go to the coil

Trying to fit to Honda CB550F. Appreciate any help you can offer.

Easiest way to check is put it on the battery. For the headlight black would be negative and depending on the wiring either blue is running and red is high or vise versa.
For the speedo the wires are for the back light, so red is positive and black negative.
And for the tach it looks like you have 5 wires the red and black bundle are again more than likely for a back light. And the green, yellow/black and black set of wires that probably goes connected somewhere around the points
