Would a bandit tank fit?

Anyone know if a Suzuki bandit tank will fit a Suzuki gs1000g frame?

I have a 2002 Bandit 1200s and I know the mounting for it and the GS1000 are quite a bit different where the GS1000 uses the tunnel with rubber mounts on both sides of the spine and my bandit has a flat bottom tank that slides on the front of the frame just behind the steering neck which would require a lot of frame work to get it to fit. Hopefully this helps.
