WTB CB750 front end

WTB a CB750 frontend to up date my CB550 for vintage racing.

My current CB550 single disc does fade a lot as the race goes on.
I'd like to be able to out brake some of the other guys later in the race and unable to with current single disc.

Freak Daddy,

Try this site, www.cb1100f.net for the CB750F front end. The popular upgrade is to switch to CB900F or F2/F3 front ends for 750's. I have seem forks offered for offsetting shipping costs.

Good luck, Jim

I am assuming Freak Daddy needs the fork for racing.

The VRRA fork size limit for Middle Weight Production class is 38mm. I think the 750 - 79/82 F's have better quality 37mm diameter forks. Earlier GL's also have 37mm but I don't think the internals are as free of sticksion(sp).

You should also be able to fit twin piston calipers to this fork and use EBC HH pads. This set-up should help at Norht Bay, hairpin.

Lockheed or Grimeca calipers would be preferable but I haven't found any deals.

I have given a 750F front end to VRRA #464 to improve his CB550, I am assuming this is the legal class limit.

Hey, gearhead here; I've still got the front end, etc., send me an email @ torrencebirdsong@yahoo.com , and I can send you a complete slide show in full page hi-res pictures, I can only do this thru my Yahoo because they allow up to 10 MB, so; if interested, let me know, if you don't want wheels/tires, we'll work something out, thanks (send me your zip and I'll figure shipping as well)
