WTB: CB750 SOHC exhaust

Our club is building a CB750 cafe to raffle off for charity at the 2013 Mods & Rockers rally in Cincinnati. We need an exhaust for the 1978 SOHC CB750K bike. It currently has 4 into 4 exhaust with the trumpets cut off (headers only).

Would prefer a 4into2 style exhaust or perhaps some good trumpets to slip onto the current 4 headers. If we have to go 4into1 we may consider it.

The build is on a very slim budget so any assistance would be appreciated. If a retailer would donate the exhaust we will add your company name to the paint job and promote you throughout the build and rally.

Tim, I have a 4-2 that I took off my '78 750K just lying around. It's in really good shape, save for some blueing. I can get you some better pics tomorrow, but here's a shot of them still on the bike...

For charity, I'll let you have them for the cost of shipping. I don't want you to put my name in the paint, but if you could occasionally anounce throughout the day "All Hail the Dashingly Handsome, Emmensely Generous, and Extremely Humble REDBIRD"... that'd be great :D :D :p

Holy Freaking Sh*T that would be great.
I think we can definitely announce that AND better. :)
I'll PM you my mailing address.
If you like we can use my FedEx or UPS account too.

RedBird is the man! All Hail Redbird!

just wait till you get the packing material... RedBird IS the man!
Hahahaaaa!!
I'm outta town with work till tomorrow, but I'll get you those pics and get them boxed up this weekend.

Hey, man! I'm interested in the pipes you're replacing. Just the headers and not the trumpets...but what you planning on doing with them??

Let me know...!

Well, Redbird hooked me up with a lifetime supply of Keebler cookies! I've never had packing peanuts that I could eat. And they did a good job of protecting the pipes too for anyone else who needs to ship things to me. :) Thank you Chris for your donation. It will make this a very cool build.

hey tim! I am curious what you are doing with the old exhaust you are removing? What condition is it in? What would you guys want for it?

Let me know if you're gonna sell it to raise funds...

Bryce, yep. I have you listed for the pipes. I'll get a pic and you can tell me what you want to pay. Funds go towards the build.

oh man! I got Cheese-its! (which I fuckin LOVE), but those Sandies are AWESOME!!!

Redbird wins the award for "best packing materials" for sure!

I use what I have handy :D

Glad they arrived in good condition. I was a little nervous that the muffler box would fold in half and damage them.
And again, I apologize for taking so long ;)

sweet thanks!

you tell me if they are a good candidate for this...

I'm going to replicate this style exhaust. Stock looking but SHORTY 4 into 4. NOT GOING TO PAY BCR $1200 FOR THIS SHIZ. I can have CR750 4into4 for that kinda dough...

Bryce - yes I think they'd be good for that. Need some cleaning and polishing. Or paint or wrap.
