I know this is a long shot as the GR650 is some what of a rare bike, but I am looking to pick up a pair of pistons for it. If you have any or know anyone that does, please send them my way, Thanks!
I had to check, with the Alexei Sayle quote I thought you were in Britain
I forget stock bore size for GR, there may be alternatives?
Duh, forgot I have the genuine service manual for Tempter :
77mm pistons.
Do you have any pistons at all?
If so, you can measure pin diameter (17.996~18.00mm) and crown height (from center of pin to top of piston)
GSXR is 78mm, crown height around 25mm (it's been a few years since I measured one)
Currently no pistons, looking to pick up a set for a project much farther down the road (read DIY big bore kit). But I know these are hard to come by so I thought I'd start looking now. Thanks for the help though!
