WTB VM34 Mikuni Carbs (maybe VM32?)

Looking for a pair of VM34 Mikuni carbs for a friend's XV750 Yamaha.

I'm not sure if a VM32 will work too, still researching which one is better suited.

Chances are either could be jetted to suit.

My XS650 has VM34's and they're the most widely used size for that motor. My BMW R75 750cc bike has VM32's on it. So there you go. Smaller carbs on the bigger motor.

Thanks for the replies and offers. I got access to a vm32 set, which I'll try first. Just my understanding is that the VM34 may be better suited for a 750 twin.

Tim, can you recall what jets you had in your BMW? Been tricky finding info on VM32s on 750s.

Also, do the jets need to change completely when moving between a VM34 and a VM32? Or could you still use similar or same jets in either?
