mounted new avons and scrubbed them in. should be on the road in 12hrs. im not going to get any sleep tonight.

well you just volunteered yourself! If there are no good pics of the weekends festivities, I hold you accountable. You gotta take tons of pics for us losers who didn't get our bikes done or couldn't make it. ;D
 
Well, after screwing with the bike for the last couple of days and making no progress, it's pretty clear I'm not going to make it. It's looking like an ignition problem now which will probably require some parts to fix.

Y'all have fun, be safe, take lots of pix and drink a cold one for me.

How's the weather looking down there? Poured here last night. Which sucks cause I was doing my fine tuning on the bike and it let rip before I could do a road test. Hopefully it gives me a break tonight. If not I think I know a few people in WV that would help dial it in on Saturday. ;D
 
Nice... Shaun should be getting to Richs as we speak. Than theyre headed this way to grab the rest of the bikes and we're off! So excited for this!

The lady and I are on the way! We are making a quick stop at the DMV so she can get her permit.

After that, its a straight shoot and see you all in about 4 - 5 hours!
 
My day so far:

9am - dropped the fuel tank, repaired the hole, buttoned it back up

I hope everyone has an incredible time. I'm in NW Iowa, so won't be making it. Will be working on my bike this weekend, but next year... I'm always game for a road trip. Cheers to all thats going

Loving all the pictures in this thread and others. Sucks I wasn't able to make it, Sure would have liked too.

You guys have to enjoy yerselves extra, in lieu of all of use who couldn't be there!
 
What a time this has been.
For the record, lunkheads that fire up an open pipe harley at 6:45am can be frightened into urinating on themselves.
It pays to know.....

Ha ha!! I just want to point out that my earlier post was a drunken bump at 3:30 am local time!

And it was a mere 3 hours before the "awakening" with open pipes. What a way to wake up about 20 pissed off people......
