Thats a good point. I'm running 27psi since that's what the bike said to run and I have no idea what to use In modern tires. What would be a good pressure to use? Would 35 or 40 be good or to much?

I have a piece of crap laptop, and it's fine for me. changed either way. try using an updated version of a mozilla client.
 
tire pressure was dead on. i checked the side of the tire today and they are both supposed to be at 41psi so i filled them up and it feels great now. The down side is that the tire got a little wider and i'm having problems getting it to have clearance from the chain and swing arm. i think i have it in a good spot now but i might need to get a narrower tire. sadly the smallest i can get is a 120/90 but that should be good enough i would think.
 
oh ya i checked this out not long ago...i remember the crazy rambo bullets comin outta the seat....thats heavy man, makes me wanna paint 'canned heat' on the side of my boat...if i had a boat
 
and the orange was brave maneuver, but it looks really good. You build old porsches too....thats just about the definition of cool. Your seat is upholstered really well, i just got mine back for my CB and it was brutal, i ripped it all apart....250 bones that shoulda went to starting another minor league football team or something...
 
haha yah i was really nervous about the color scheme for a while but i'm really happy with it. kinda wish the blue was a bit more color correct but the paint and painting were free so i'm not going to be too anal about it. i dont build porsches my dad does i help out a bit pulling engines and anything involving heavy lifting. His upholstery guy did it for me he is really good he works on $100,000 cars so he has to be good. he also does it for a living he does prototype cars for one of the big 3 if i remember right and does porsches on the side for my dad.
 
I finally got around to performing the flasher mod you helped me with. It worked perfectly. Thanks again.

Glad to know i could help. Did you use the same flasher as me? if so make sure to check your blinkers periodically it wont do the fast flashing if one is out i found out last night when i checked mine and one was out.
 
Well i have not worked in weeks now and am flat broke and 4 months behind on rent i think the bike will have to go. What do you guys think i could get for it?
 
ahh man that sucks... prob bet you can get around 2 g's i would put it on ebay though that is your best bet for find someone that will fall in love wiht it!
 
thanks. yah it sucks really bad i'm still holding out hope that i wont have to. i'm going to try and sell off my camera gear first but if not its going to have to go 2 grand would almost save my ass though but i've got more then enough camera gear to easily make more then that so hopefully that stuff goes fast.
 
Man this sucks. Projects I have built/restored are my babies and I can't even imagine parting with them. I hope you can find a way to hang on to the bike.
 
Hey guys i have not been on here in a long time. I'm trying to sell my bike right now and have had very little interest i was asking $2500 and so far the only offer i have had was for $1500. He said it was because of a few imperfections in the paint. I have no idea what its worth but i feel like he is just trying to get it at a really low price. I have no idea what the market is like for these right now what do you guys think? I have to sell the bike soon and have not had many people interested but $1500 seems low.
