Not sure what you will do with the tail in the bottom pic?
But the one on top is looking good. If you use that you can maybe build a small box under the tail, and that way hold your battery?
Realized I want to lower the front. Ordered some clipons along with some other stuff from DCC. Think the hump is working rather well
Going to get rid of the starter and run an 4amp battery kick-only instead. Excercise is good for you...
Very cool man just one more Yam here which is great ! Im running the same tank and lifted the back a inch by welding small L shape rests and mounting holes . Think this is the look your going for maybe ....
Great inspiration, thanks!
Must say that spoke wheels is the true thing for an old school bike...
Everyone is running great details on their bikes, mine's gonna be quite rough the first season. My wheels need something like one thousand hours of polishing. At least.
The hump works really well in profile! But doesn't it look like the odd part out compared to the straight lines of the tank when viewed from other angles?

It's a bit different from the rest of the bike, which as you know, has the italian box look instead of british flowing lines.
That's why I experimented with the more square hump you see earlier in the thread. Thing is i think it made the bike too boxy, so I'm gonna try this out and if it doesn't work I'll change it. Sure gives it a special look.
Anyone moved their key/ignition to the petcock area btw? fail-safe operation?
