xs500 front brake caliper, 650 the same?

my 1976 xs500 doesnt have a front brake caliper, and rocking just the rear brake is sketchy at times. any chance that the 650 has the same caliper?? just a thought. or anything else that would fit in?


hell, even a front end swap with some 35mm forks from another bike like a sportster or something would work better too, better parts availability at least!

Should be the same on the 76 650 or the rd 400

sick, ill look into it, thanks a metric fk ton! im planning on rebuilding the front brake caliper thats siezed, but just in case it goes to hell and i cant fix it, ill at least have a backup plan!

If I'm not mistaken the 650 brakes from 75-up are the same. 2 piece with the cast carrier that bolts to the fork and the caliper that floats in it.
