Shes a 1977 Yamaha xs650 w/ kick start only 750 big bore, performance cam valve springs clutch, high ratio primary gear set, Del Lorto phf36 carbs, pod filters, battery relocation, wiring harness simplified, rear lights relocated, Woodcraft clip-ons, Fast from the Past rearsets, xs750 tank, Progressive Suspension 14 series shocks, headlight and gauge cluster lowered, flat black and shaved frame, and cafe seat.

Still planning on doing a perm. mag. alt. and a cigarette box type bat mod to her.

Very nice! Is the cam from MikesXS? I've been considering building up an engine with a bit more fun in it for my XS650. Not sure I'm going to splurge on it just yet, but MikesXS seems to have all the bits I'd need between their ready-to-go 750 kit, cam, valve springs etc. etc.

My stock 650 engine (fresh pistons/valve job etc.) has plenty of kick, but somehow my bike seems to deserve something a little more befitting her racer inspired looks.

That there's one classy dame. Great work, love the tank graphic.

Thanks I did it myself. The circle was a bit of a pain but it came out nice. I went flat white and gloss sun rise red.

yeah i went the mikes xs cam route though i had read that the other cam was the way to go. Over all impretty happy with the motor as it is now.

Thanks a bunch you guys. This was the first bike that I ever worked on and I was really happy with the way it turned out. I dont know if its good enough to make it in to bike of the month but if it did that would be sweet
