XV920 "Short Bus"

Ha! I have to put the carb back on first. And wire it back up.

I didn't know you could dance....puts a whole new spin on my feelings for you.... 8)

Virago's seem to be a love it or hate it bike. I like the 82 920's (there's 7 or 8 of them in my garage right now, next to one 83 920 and one 81 750) with the square headlight and digital cycom dash. I like the 535's, I don't care much for any of the early 500 or 750's. The 84 and up I'm undecided on as I have yet to ride one.

That is a lot of Viragos. Someday you'll make a collector very, well, confused.

How has no one lit this thing on fire yet? Go get that damned chopper and sell this turd already. :)

Choppers are not cool anymore..

It's cause choppers were a fad that was resurrected from dudes still stuck on their days of glory from the 70s then relived this buy watching their worn out easy rider movie on VHS in the early 2000s.

It's a shame you feel that way. Have fun on your cafe racer. You know, the fad resurrected from dudes still stuck in their glory days in the 60s. ;)

Not many people really able to remember their glory days in the '60's. Must be a bunch of young punks wanting to pretend they ever had glory days.

Choppers were the American version of Cafe Racers in the 50's~60's.
Lousy on corners but OK if you had to ride from one side of the country to the other (stable in a straight line, even when you fall asleep ;D )

Too many drugs maybe affected the memory too..

OCC doesnt count for anything. :)

There are still plenty of folks building real chops (unlike OCC) and making a living at it. A good one at that.

That said, if it's got two wheels (and isnt a Honda Rune) I'm down with it.

Ya the problem is evertime I see a custom chopper I can't help but see Occ influences regardless if Occ copied styles from someone else or if the style has hints of Occ flavor. Another problem I have with choppers is the extreme of style vs function. No rear suspension, retarded rake and trail, ape hangers, 30" front wheels, car tire back wheels, drag bars on a chopper, dual chains, ricey bling, crazy amounts of dead weight, etc, etc.

Lol. I had to look up the honda. Uh they should have named that honda "ruined".

It would seem that you have a very skewed idea of what a chopper is. Too bad.

I will admit I think I do. But we all have our likes and dislikes in bikes and that's fine. Personally I think trackers and future style bikes (like Confederate) will be the new fad and cafe scene will slow down.
