Yam RD New LED Seat Setup Wiring

All you need to run the motor is power to the coils.
But if you don't have her all buttoned up, I'd make sure there are no loose hot (+) wires laying around that may ground by accident.
It would suck to start a fire now :p

ok red i will check if the coil has power...do i check it too with the test light (- on the - of the coil, plus on the plus of the coil) or do i need to do check it otherwise?

so yesterday i started reassembling the the bucket and figured that nearly everything is sorted only 2 issues left:

1.)hi-low light switch:

the hi low switch didnt work at all ,yesterday i found a way but now the low light position is high beam and the other way around...this is so confusing....which wires are switched up?

2.)assist beam (little bulb in bucket)

the little bulb ALWAYS light up together with the big h4 bulb,in every key position so i guess this is wrong,i guess that it should it solely should light up in the first eky position ("parking light") but it does not...i guess that there are also switche up wires...

maybe you can help me out with these too!

thank you for your help on the neutral switch, the problem is solved,i was in a wrong "neutral" ;D

I should be able to straighten you out, but I'm a little bleary eyed right now.
I'll look at it tomorrow with fresh eyes and we'll get you fixed up ;)

Hey red!

Problem 1 is solved...i switched up the green and yellow cable in the headlight adapter....solved:)

Problem is yet to be solved!

Is it possible that my rd has no 'parking light'?
Its interesting cuz it has like 5 key positions but they are all the same....
So my guess is that there should ne only parlking light in one of the first positions.

I suppose it's possible. I'm not sure how they're regulated over there, but here in the states it's a requirement.
The key positions here are (going clockwise): Park-Lock-Off-Run.
I looked over the wiring diagram, but I don't see a "Park" circuit. Here in the states, the Park circuit only lights up the taillight (not the brake light).

Thats interesting.really seems like theres no parking circuit.it is no requirement in austria so ill let it be.

I just discovered a new problem.
I hooked everything up,everything worked great but then suddenly no power at all....
No blinkers no light.i checked the grounds of the battery, all clear

Then i figured:

When i pull the cables of the blinker on the right side of the bucket (blinkers grounds together with headlight) i suddenly light back up then again no light so i guess there must be a problem with the blinkers....

But can this cause the whole energy supply to shut down?

If the common ground is loose, yes. ;)
So by common ground you mean the bullett connector where now my headlight and blinker minus connects to?

On which places could this ground be loose?

I hope not that theres an issue inside the sealed LED blinker

1) Yes
2) Where does that ground attach?
3) No, if that were the case, only the blinker would go out. It's gotta be either the common ground for the circuit is loose, or the power lead for the circuit is loose.

Long time no hear.

And when you think everything is sorted and good to go a new problem shows up....
I'm nearly all trough with my restoration.

Today i filled up my side oil tank and realised that my plunger sensor in the oil tank doesnt seem to work right.
I filled up the tank and the sensor shows oil idiot light.
Took out the sensor moved the plunger up and down....still red oil idiot light...
The sensor worked fine when i bought it...maybe i effed up something in the headlight bucket.hope you can help me out!
I made a pic of the plug with three cables that goes in and out of the sensor.

The only thing i saw is that when i moved the plunger up and down by hand the oil idiot light was slightly flickering....

Hope you can help me!!!
