Yamaha SR250 Regulator/Rectifier for Lithium Battery

Just purchased an Antigravity 8 cell battery. Does anyone use the stock R/R with a lithium battery?
If I was going to upgrade, which one is a good one to get? Thanks!

If the LiPo-Battery has got a BMS, make sure your regulator is not set to some stupidly high cut off voltage (some old regulators go up to 14.8 to 15V to de-gas lead acid batteries) and other than that: you already have a LiPo usable regulator. LiPo-packs w.o. a BMS are a bad idea for vehicle applications as they also balance the cell voltages and make sure none gets over- or undercharged.
