need help whit carbs , this bike start bot when i throttle the rpm goes to 3000 and some times go up more and stays there i need to use the choke to lower the rpm .some times stays at 3000 rpm for a wile and then start to go low in till 1000 rpm and some times the rpm wont go more than 2000rpm invent with the throttle at max . pls help


have carbs cleaned and still the same .

I'm not sure if this is the problem but it could be. Maybe check the carb boots. They could be leaking and need replacing. Turn the engine on then spray some starter fluid on the outside areas of the boot where they would be leaking. If the engine revs up from that, then you have a leak at the carb boots. I know I had to replace the carb boots on my xs400 because they were cracked and dried out.
