YANX 600 Yamaha XJ(FJ) 600 Goes Cafe

i`m thinking the exact same thing.
gonna trade 2 90`s yz 250 for a streetlegal xr 250,so with spikes in the tires there will be riding all year thru.
 
6 Months since last update... hmm, been sleepy :)
Well, also been aeay from work for tha almost a year now, and haven't been able to do thata much on the bike eather.
But, last weeks things have turned around, and soon also will be back at twork, atleast what I hope for.

And the bike than...
Well, exhaust been made, 4-1 and the old Dunstall pipe is overhauled :)
Seat and frontcover been painted, ready to be mounted soon.

Well I hope to keep the speed up now.
Just finished reasambling the carburators after cleaning.
Painted 2 of the lids and polished the other 2.
Today arrived the airfilters, cones :) hope to get it work with open filters.
Will post pics when I have pc availible
 
Hey Pattheswede! Love the build. I was hoping you could help me with my '84 fj600 build. I am doing the electrical and I was hoping you might know the pin to wire layout for the CDI. I am rewiring from scratch and my diagrams are either too blurry or dont list the exact pin layout. Thanks Brother!
 
I am not a fan of the colour theme that you've chosen for this project, but apart from that I love the rest. Those swing arm bolt covers look great.
