Yes, have someone else do it. :D Seriously, the pictures don't show the tiger striping and the little imperfections that are in the paint. For the cost I would still would've had it done professionally. I just couldn't afford it. There was an article by a gentleman about painting his sportster. He outlined everything you needed to do to get a proper paint job. I will post a link when i find it.

Finally got the engine and braking buttoned up. ;D It took since Feb. to get it all assembled but here it is.

555cc overbore for 500cc.
Ported and polished head.
Drilled exhaust.
Jetted Carbs.
Dual Disc front end conversion.

Cafe' Seat.
LED tail light.
Turn Signals.

Fix that pesky exhaust leak.


At least my wifes sportster has a stablemate now.
