Yup, Virago XV750 project. Miss '82

I'm new here, and aspiring welder and fabricator. I came across a hideous looking motorcycle up for trade for a dirt bike. Me wanting to go and get on the road I traded my beloved yz250 for a meticulous slightly kind of running bike with no front brakes, and a wiring mess. The bike wouldn't start unless pushed, but ran actually surprisingly well for a 30yr old bike with only 14k miles on it.

I took it home and started taking parts off and getting my hands dirty. I put on a new brake master cylinder and ordered S.S. braided brake lines and mounted them on some eBay clip ons and it dramatically changed the look of the bike. I put a new starter motor but alas, still nothing. Doesn't even attempt to start up. I have a new headlight but I really don't want to have to reroute all the wires out of the old headlight into the new one. Maybe if I was more comfortable I could but I might get someone else to do it, i don't know yet.

My rear sets are a universal rear set and linkage kit that I bought from Dime City Cycles. I mounted them where the passenger pegs and its a really comfortable position for me considering I'm so tall ('6'6) I just need to go get longer all thread for my links since the ones I received weren't long enough. And the cool thing with all thread is you can get an aluminum sleeve to go over the all thread which not only makes it look a bit better but it also increases strength.

So my last and final question is would anyone know my next step to get the bike running? I'm assuming starter relay, any way to check my current one? Thanks for looking guys!
