Yes completely stock, air filter stock as well as exhaust. Yes riding it when it over heats. Yes oil in gear box. Throttle is hesitant from idle and clutch it a bit to get rpm up so it does not stall.

I have a 1978 Honda CB400T twin. It runs for about 30 min and than gets real hot and shuts off. Would appreciate possible reasons and recommend fix. Thank you!
