On a MIG, increasing wire feed increases amps. Perhaps you meant volts.

Oil is only going to begin to flow when the engine is running. You won't harm it by kickstarting it.
No benefit to sitting over night, oil only goes to the lowest point in the engine, almost immediately upon pouring it in.

If you rebuilt and painted the engine, ohaualed your forks, detabbed, hooped and painted your frame and tank, all in a week, hats off to you!

Looks like good quality environmental splices there.
One thing you'll find, like I did, is the Hi beam indicator on that speedo is BRIGHT! So much so, that I put a piece of tape on it at night, because it kills my night vision!
