You might be able to get away with getting rid of that motor mount. That motor mount is right by the drive sprocket and the kick starter though. I would think you would want maximum strength in that area. It will make the frame more rigid to have that motor mount there.
Polishing looks nice.
freedomgli,
I've done a few things over the last couple months but not a whole lot. Here are a few pics:
new seat hinge. didnt like my first attempt.
Seat remounted
I think the seat looks better now
Homemade chain tensioners
I cleaned up the fender more. Still not done though...
Homemade Bobber Design? Input?
Right on! Definitely better with the bend in the lower tube of the hard tail. The chain might have hit the frame with the original design.
Thanks sinbad! Hopefully work on the headlight mount this weekend as well as the finishing the grinding and welding on the patch job and brace between down tube and back bone.
Thanks man! Me too!
Got my hand controls in the mail today!
Speed holes! Removed the factory front tank mounts. They were sticking out too far and interfering with the new tank.
Patched it.
Got 2 j bends today along with a long drive chain and a top hat bung for mounting the tank. I bought mounting tabs for the front of the tank at a swap meet over the weekend. Pics of the other parts will be posted soon.
