Hey guys I should have done that a long time ago but anyway I am JB from Australia, I am living in the middle of nowhere 800 km to the first town so chasing part or mechanical aide is a challenge. I bought a stock 1972 cb175 with a bit of rust and I enjoy chopping welding and trying making it...

So i pulled the to end apart, Pistons and cylinders are fine ;D I adjusted the valves, points, timing and everything as per the manual, Reassemble the bike, first kick and it came to life like never before UNTIL same squealing noise came back bike stoled and can t move the kick anymore...

It s true that the oil seems to have lost its viscosity, it s really runny. I ll try to see if the piston is damage. The right side of the cam where the valves run was dry, could be where the squeaking came from? Thanks a lot for all the advices and comments

The engine was feeling real hot at the time, not exctly sure why

So I remove the engine of the bike, I pulled the cam cover off( if that s even the name) everything looks normal as far as I can tell I pull the timing cover off and the engine spins freely. I am gonna study the haynes book I have and see what I can figure out.
