Finally all sorted on the rear axle setup... Also stainless brake arm...

Got myself a sewing machine to mess about with... After much failure and about a week of wasting material I’ve come up with a seat I’m happy with. Also this cements an idea on colour for the frame and wheels. Deep cherry pearl??????

I was racking my brain on fastening some gauze on this tube for ages... and then it dawned on me. Rings of the same tube with a section cut out And press fitted.

Internal threaded axle with nice big Ali countersunk bosses for m16 Allen bolts. There’s a steel washer on the inside of the countersink so the bolts don’t gaul up the Aluminium. Got a nice idea for some tidy tensioners too (coming soon)

Cheers chaps! More to come soon, airbox scoop. Side stand. Rear exhaust brackets. And more. Not sure what to do with the frame coating. Toyed with the idea of sending it for a clear or smokey powder coat. Or just do a nice solid 2k black at home. Any suggestions welcome.

Done a bypass switch for the rad fan so I can cool shit down in traffic or whenever really

Tested the tank today! 1 leak. not bad going at all. Pump goes like fuck! :D

Couple more bits and bobs here and there. Finally got the fuel tank done (ish) and mounted, only left to do for it is a breather. Made some progress on the air/electrical box, not sure if I like it but I’ll keep going with it for now. Some other small bits, eBay buys and what not..... chain...

Might even make an octagon for the air/electric box.
