any reason a tank from the 72-76 era wouldnt fit a '78 frame?

happen to know if those tanks will fit a 750 frame? i'd assume not, but wishful thinking... :D

this tank is amazing. ::) ::) how'd you get it smoothed out so nice? body solder at all or just a skilled hand hammering the tank in and sanding flat?

anybody seen a clear-coat, polished tank (as in not evened out with bondo and covered with paint) with hammered knee indents that looked good? i might try it, and use lead if i need to, you guys think it will blend?

frame says 78, and i've got the bolt-together flange/clamps, which look like they'll fit the package i'm eying. sound right? ???

I emailed the seller and apparently my engine is type K5 based on the engine code, so I'm in the clear for the kit, apparently.

good to know! frame says 750K so i guess it is all aftermarket, it doesnt make any indication as to what make/model the exhaust is though.
